From cinematic storytelling to immersive sound and visual curation, each member contributes their expertise to craft experiences that resonate with audiences worldwide, defining the studio’s distinctive voice in cinema and visual arts.

Arian Nowbahari, Ph.D.

Founder, CEO

Arian Nowbahari is a filmmaker, visual artist, and image engineer based in Oslo, working at the intersection of cinema and painting. With a Ph.D. in applied micro- and nanosystems and professional experience as an image engineer (Sony), his work brings technical precision into a strongly artistic and visual practice.

As the founder and CEO of New Spring Productions, he leads the studio’s creative vision, overseeing film production, artistic projects, and the overall visual and conceptual direction of the studio. His films explore identity, conflict, and the human condition through visual symbolism and controlled cinematic language.

Natalija Strahinić

Art Director

Natalija Strahinić is an art curator and researcher with a strong academic background in audiovisual and exhibition-based practices. She holds BA and MA degrees and is pursuing a PhD in cinema-related research.

Her work bridges cinema, sound, and spatial experience, curating audio-visual, interactive, and installation-based projects. At New Spring Productions, she contributes a critical and curatorial perspective, shaping how artistic works are contextualized, presented, and experienced, while bringing her expertise in sound design, re-recording mixing, and sound editing for film, TV, and streaming projects.

Maryam Zahirimehr

Producer & Film Director

Maryam Zahirimehr is an award-winning filmmaker and producer whose work explores women’s lives, identity, and social realities through poetic and metaphorical cinema. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography and Integrated Media and has written, directed, and produced films recognized at major international festivals.

Her feature films Endless? and Forbidden Womanhood have received multiple awards and international selections, establishing her voice within contemporary independent cinema. At New Spring Productions, she contributes her experience as a producer and director, supporting the development of films driven by strong visual language and socially engaged storytelling.

Daniel Chaee Chiyan

General Manager – Head of Public Relations, Nordics

Daniel Chaee Chiyan is a multidisciplinary business leader with experience across technology, healthcare, and commerce. Holding a degree in IT engineer, he has led companies in growth, governance, and structural development, bringing strategic vision and operational insight to his work.

At New Spring Productions, Daniel oversees public relations and communication across the Nordic market, managing partnerships, media relations, and strategic visibility for the studio, ensuring its projects reach and resonate with audiences in the region.

Amir Mansoori

General Manager – Head of Public Relations, Middle East & Turkey

Amir Mansoori is a communications consultant and acoustics technology expert, combining technical precision with creative insight. With experience in research and applied acoustics, he brings a deep understanding of sound, media, and technical production to his work.

At New Spring Productions, Amir manages PR and media engagement across the Middle East and Türkiye, coordinating festivals, press, and communications, while ensuring the studio’s projects connect with audiences and stakeholders in the region.

Marco De Turco

Head of Sound

Marco De Turco is a composer, sound designer, and mixing engineer whose work defines the audio landscape of New Spring Productions films. He has created sound design and compositions for global brands including Durex, Ichnusa, Moncler, Q8, Yamaha Motors, KFC, MCM, Pal Zileri, Freddy Wear, and Rolling Stones Italia, crafting immersive sound experiences that enhance storytelling and emotional impact.

Giacomo Borraccini, Ph.D.

Music Director & Composer

Giacomo Borraccini is a composer, postdoctoral researcher at NEC Laboratories America (Princeton, NJ), and music director whose work defines the musical and emotional identity of New Spring Productions films. He has composed original scores spanning orchestral, chamber, and electronic music, combining technical mastery with creative vision to craft immersive soundscapes that enhance storytelling, atmosphere, and cinematic impact.

Andrea Bacciu

3D Artist & Game Designer

Andrea Bacciu is a game designer and 3D artist whose work expands the interactive and spatial dimension of New Spring Productions. He has created immersive 3D visuals for projects including Spotify and Apple Music and is the creator of the indie game Salus per Aquam. Combining storytelling, technology, and artistic vision, he crafts engaging and visually compelling experiences across games, VR applications, and cinematic 3D environments.

Maria Dolores Biancu

Graphic Designer & Visual Artist

Maria Dolores Biancu is a senior graphic designer whose work shapes the visual language of New Spring Productions. With a background from the Academy of Fine Arts and advanced studies in Digital Communication for Business, she bridges aesthetic sensitivity with strategic thinking. She develops logos, posters, and cohesive brand identities, translating concepts into clear, meaningful visual systems that strengthen narrative, brand presence, and artistic direction across projects.
